
The University of Illinois is one of the
most prestigious dental and periodontal schools in the
country. Dr. Fauth earned his dental and advanced periodontal
degrees from the University of Illinois. Later he went
on to achieve the status of Diplomate in Periodontics*.
From 1974 to 1984, Dr. Fauth taught prostodontics
and later periodontics at the University of Illinois.
He has authored and presented numerous articles, clinics
and lectures.
He is a member of all relevant professional

Greg’s hometown is Aurora and his
primary practice has always been here. He is a father
of three and a sports enthusiast playing baseball, tennis,
golf and hockey. He also enjoys traveling, playing the
trumpet and listening to music. In the winter, he can
be found working with wood and stained glass.
* A Diplomate is a periodontist
who has made significant achievements beyond the usual
educational requirements of the specialty and who
is certified by the American Board of Periodontology.
Board Certification requires:
- Passing comprehensive oral and
written examinations covering all phases of periodontal
disease and its treatment, including dental implants.
- Presentation of detailed reports
on a broad range of actual treatment personally
provided by the periodontist.
