Gregory L. Fauth, DDS
Dr. Fauth has been a dentist since 1973, and he limited his practice to periodontics and dental implants in 1982. Throughout the years, Dr. Fauth has found the greatest reward in working with people to assist them in attaining optimal health. He is honored to be in a profession where his work allows him to make a difference in the lives of his patients and the people he works with. Dr. Fauth enjoys periodontics because it combines the application of scientific biologic principles with the art of knowing each individual patient and the procedures to help them achieve optimal health.
Education and Continuing Education
Dr. Fauth obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Michigan State University. From there, he attended the University of Illinois to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Certificate in Periodontics.
One of Dr. Fauth’s greatest fears as a professional is becoming outdated in his field. For this reason, Dr. Fauth regularly attends continuing education courses and seminars locally and nationally each year. He is committed and and dedicated to staying at the forefront of all the advances in trends, treatments, and technologies in Periodontoloy. He has earned Diplomate status by the American Board of Periodontology, a title gained by those who have proven their expertise beyond the training gained in their residency programs. Further, Dr. Fauth is a charter member of two local study clubs that meet regularly throughout the year. All of this allows Dr. Fauth to provide his patients with the most efficient and effective treatments and most rewarding and beneficial results.

In the Community
Dr. Fauth is proud of his community and feels privileged to call it home. For this reason, he enjoys donating his time and resources back into his community. He has served on the local Mental Health Board and has also volunteered with the local United Way. He has also coached baseball at all levels in Aurora.
Dr. Fauth is married to the love of his life, Geri, and they each have three of their own children who are all adults. Dr. Fauth and Geri’s family includes four girls and two boys and two grandaughters.
In his free time, Dr. Fauth enjoys sports, music, and woodworking. Growing up, Dr. Fauth played almost every sport out there, and he loves baseball, golf, hockey and tennis. He still golfs frequently. Dr. Fauth has played the trumpet since grade school, and his music tastes are eclectic, as he enjoys everything from marching bands to pop bands to classical compositions. Dr. Fauth is also a budding woodworker, and he enjoys creating fine pieces from unfinished materials. Since 1970, Dr. Fauth has yet to miss a home season opening game for the Chicago White Sox, and he has no intention of slowing down anytime soon.
